What are the benefits of connecting?
If you connect your Gmail with eDreams, you'll be able to manage all of your trips in one place. Including getting your boarding passes, real-time flight schedule and notifications for your flight, the airport terminal, baggage belt and also all other flight and hotel information.
What if I didn't book my trips with eDreams?
Even if you didn't book your trip with us, you can still get and manage your boarding passes, flight and hotel information and more all in one app!
How does it work?
Our automated system uses keywords to find your travel bookings and connects them with our app. Our system then automatically parses the information which means we can provide it to you all in one place.
How will we use your data?
Our automated system will use keywords to find your travel booking and show them in the app so that you can view all your trips in one place. We will also try and provide you with counter offers for hotels should we find a better deal for them. We would anonymize your data for statistical purposes to provide and improve the services we offer to you such as check-in, flight notifications, itinerary management.
So no human can access my emails?
Nope! It's all done by smart tech limiting the processing to travel nature emails (such as confirmation of your trip booking, update trip information, etc).
Why do you need my phone number?
In order to offer you the best hotel deals, we'll need to be able to call you.
We'll only call you when we find a hotel or product that we think you'll find interesting.
We won't share your phone number with anyone outside of eDreams.
What if I want to revoke this permission?
You can revoke eDreams access to your inbox by managing your permissions in your Gmail account. You can do that there. Alternatively, you can do it via My Trips on our app.
When you revoke this permission we will delete your phone number from our database and we won't be able to call you anymore.
